OBSERVATIONS FROM THE MAY NEURO CONFERENCE

„It was one of the best conferences, I have ever had the chance to participate in”. This is one of the comments from this year’s conference NEUROMARKETING, which was held by CONFESS agency.
More than 100 participants from important clients and journalist were shown concrete examples from Neuro testing realized on the Czech market.
Through many case studies the clients had the chance to see that what consumers say to us is often discordant with what they really think. Representatives from e.g. Seznam.cz, Amundsen or GE Money shared with us their experiences with the neuro testing of their own campaigns. We learned for example , how the company Seznam.cz adjusted its TV spot based on the Neuro testing or if Amundsen scored with the six times distilled vodka Amundsen “Etter destillere”. Further we got to know how the consumers perceive long obliged texts in adverts for loans.
At the conference was again speaking the charismatic professor Rafal Ohme, CEO of the company LABoratory & Co, who scored big success with his presentation already last year. He introduced for the first time in the Czech Republic two absolute newcomers in the neuro testing field of brand perception and category drivers identification – the method Matrix™ a Visage™. He explained in his contribution “How brands are perceived by our brain” how these two new methods can with the focus on subconsciousness help with the brand positioning. Thanks to this presentation we know exactly now for example, what women really love while taking a shower and which benefits in the category of the shower gels stimulate the most the consumers’ interest. After the presentation we know also which James Bond is the best one.
In addition there was a live demo of the Neuro test and some of the participants had the chance to personally try how the tests proceed.
According to the feedback we can only conclude the conference was well liked. We all look forward for the next opportunity to share new study cases from the communication and brand perception. We plan the next conference in the autumn of this year.
